VISUAL of the WEEK

NPR briefly covered an ancient Mongolian horse race this past September. Boys under the age as 14 and some as young as 4 or 5 will race 15 miles bareback. They’re dressed in brilliant colors and sing to encourage their horses. Apparently the race hasn’t changed since the 13th century, crazy. You can check the audio clip here as well as an NPR video.
