Jennifer James Wright — A graphic designer and illustrator running loose in the great city of Austin.
Although a homegrown Texas girl, Jennifer moved to west coast and attended the University of Southern California where she studied communication and a little design. She graduated in December of 2006, dashed off to Austin, and joined the Creative Suitcase family where she continues to work. Jennifer freelances on the side with projects ranging from band merchandise to preschooler book illustrations.
In February 2007 she launched a small business called Gezellig Print specializing in screen-printed home décor. Since then, Gezellig Print has been featured in several international and domestic publications and blogs such Urbane China — Dwell, Design New England, Design*Sponge and Bloesem.
Jennifer’s design and illustration work has also appeared in Screamer Design’s art publication Two, It’s Nice That (a UK-based design blog), Bandwidth at KSCR radio and has won several awards in ACUI – Steal This Idea.
