I just returned from a much needed escape to South America and found inspiration in places I didn’t expect: vividly painted buildings, florescent fabrics and an incredible use of geometric patterns in glass, tile and wood (ancient and modern). Experiences like these are eye-opening from a design perspective and hopefully the things I observed will make their way into my sometimes color-scared work.
