Broccoli: Issue 2
Broccoli’s second issue features leading women in cannabis such as growner-turned-writer Mennlay, filmmaker and activist Donisha Prendergast, and lawyer Lauren Rudick and along with art by Pegge Hopper, Stephen Eichhorn, and Aleia Murawski. The issue was launched in partnership with Rachel Comey in Los Angeles in March 2018.
Broccoli is an international magazine created by and for women who love cannabis. It debuted in December 2017 offering a new perspective on cannabis culture by looking at the plant through an art, culture and fashion lens. The magazine’s growth has been unprecedented thanks in part to coverage by Vogue, It’s Nice That, Broadly, Dazed and others. The publication’s visual language and editorial design was developed over the course of three months with the aim to speak to a significant but often overlooked group of women cannabis consumers. A playful, slightly irreverent design paired with rich, vibrant content has helped launch Broccoli into an international market with distribution now in Europe, Asia and Canada.
